Desert Singles Membership Information

Our Mission: To promote a healthy, compassionate, non-threatening environment for the single adults in our community to encourage growth, creativity, and development of worthwhile relationships, and to promote fun. TSD Club is established as a non-profit organization for adults 35 years of age and older who are single, legally separated, divorced or widowed. This is a positive group of people who value friendship and an opportunity to share worthwhile experiences.


Web Page: Our web site, www.tucsondesertsingles.org is the primary way we publish events. If you do not have access to the World Wide Web, you might consider asking a friend who has access, accessing it from work, or visiting the library to get access and print out a copy of the newsletter, which is available off the members' only page. The newsletter will be posted on the web toward the end of the month, normally just before the monthly membership meeting. If you are unable to get the newsletter from the web, you may want to have the newsletter mailed to you at an extra charge of $15 per year. The cost of the newsletter may change during your membership year due to cost of supplies and postage, or other factors. However, your membership dues will not. If you rely solely on the newsletter for events, you will invariably miss some events because events may be received for publication, published and completed before the next newsletter is printed.


Members' Directory: We do plan to publish a members' directory containing the name and other information about the members ONLY if a member gives permission to do so. You give permission by checking the shaded boxes on the information form to the right of the information you would like in the directory. If you participate, you must give permission to at least publish your name and some form of contact, either a telephone number, mailing address, or e-mail.

 


Members Responsibility's: It is expected that you will host at least one event per year.
